I really want you to love your hair! In the event that you are having any challenges with your haircut, color, or hair extensions, please let me know within 7 days of your visit and I am happy to correct the issue at no additional charge. I unfortunately do not offer refunds of any kind, no exceptions.
I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, I respectfully require 48 hours notice for cancellations or changes to the service scheduled. If you cancel your appointment with less then 48 hours notice, you will be required to pay a 50% rebooking fee in order to reschedule your appointment. Same day cancellations (which are considered 12 hours or less from the appointment time) will result in payment of 100% the cost of the service scheduled in order to be rescheduled. Should this happen more than once, you will no longer be allowed to schedule future appointments at Shade & Comb.
In the event that you are not well, or have been around someone who has tested positive for Covid, a positive Covid test and/or confirmation of sickness from a doctor is required to cancel your scheduled appointment to avoid the rebooking fee. Please understand that day before & same day appointment cancellations result in lost wages as I'm unable to fill a last minute cancelled appointment.
No Call / No Shows
If you do not show up on the scheduled date and time of your appointment, you will no longer be allowed to schedule any future appointments at Shade & Comb.
Here at Shade & Comb, I have a 15 minute lateness policy. If you are running late, please text me to let me know. Should you arrive beyond 15 minutes late, the services scheduled will need to be adjusted. You may also need to forfeit your appointment completely resulting in payment of 100% the cost of the services scheduled.
72 hours prior to your appointment, you will receive a reminder text & email which you will need to confirm. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed/cancelled appointments and the rebooking fees.
If you plan on having a guest with you during your hair appointment, please reach out and let me know. Children over the age of newborn are not recommended as my studio is a small space.
IT IS MY PRIORITY TO CONDUCT THOROUGH CONSULTATIONS FOR ALL SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SALON, HOWEVER IT IS EACH CLIENT'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO BE UPFRONT AND HONEST ABOUT THEIR HAIR HISTORY.
ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE HAIR AS A RESULT OF UNDIVULGED INFORMATION DURING THE CONSULTATION IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY.
